Meet Bernell
Bernell is a Licensed Social Worker, Christian teacher, and mentor with a unique ability to bridge professional insight with biblical truth. With training in mental health, family systems, and therapeutic support, she brings both wisdom and compassion to individuals and families navigating complex seasons of life. As the founder of Autism Healing Ministry and co-owner of Trey’s Way LLC, Bernell has dedicated her work to helping families find hope, clarity, and transformation through faith-centered guidance. Her mission is to encourage others to renew their minds through God’s Word, strengthen their identity in Christ, and walk in truth rather than fear.
Through Trey’s Way, Bernell also leads consulting and design services focused on intentional multi-sensory environments that support regulation, connection, and learning. She holds ISNA-MSE (Snoezelen®) Level I certification, which has deepened her understanding of environment, rhythm, and regulation as tools for wise stewardship and support.
At the center of all her work is a simple conviction: professional knowledge has value, but truth is found in Christ. Every strategy, framework, and insight must remain secondary to the authority of Scripture.
The Renewed Mind Journey™ was born from this intersection of faith, wisdom, lived experience, and professional understanding. It is not about fixing families or chasing outward outcomes. It is about walking alongside people as they renew their minds, rediscover their identity in Christ, and experience lasting transformation from the inside out.

The Renewed Mind Journey™ is more than a mentoring and coaching company. It is a sanctuary for parents, individuals, therapists, and professionals who are navigating the complexities of supporting children, families, and clients impacted by diagnoses, challenges, and difficult seasons of life.
Born from the conviction that true transformation begins within, this space was created to bridge practical understanding with spiritual truth. Through mentorship, coaching, teaching, and renewal rooted in God’s Word, we help people move from fear and overwhelm into truth, peace, and confidence.
We believe that while many focus only on changing outward circumstances, God begins with the renewing of the mind. As thinking is transformed, identity is strengthened, peace is restored, and faith becomes greater than the storm.
